     One of my first thoughts as I played through the album was how jealous I am that this isn’t what my friends and I get to ride out to our senior year of High School. Granted, back in the fall of ’03 we had Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (classics), but back then – and now – I would’ve traded those albums for this Kanye x Jay shit in a heartbeat. Here are the reasons why:

The Black Keys - Brothers

My roommate put me on to this group/album. They also have a song on the FIFA '11 soundtrack (shouts to the FIFA heads!). Their guitar is smooth, sounds like a new Wes Montgomery. The lead singers voice is a soft falsetto. These boys are funky and I suggest you check them out.

Curiosity - a new Discovery Network channel - answers any and all questions over a plethora of topics. This week the channel tackles the super-mysterious question: "Why is Sex Fun?" Honestly, I think they may need more than an hour for the countless answer to this question. So, if you're deprived and don't get what the hype is about I suggest you tune in Sunday at 8 PM as Maggie  Gyllenhall answers this extremely easy to answer question.

Eatin' Good: Circa Foggy Bottom

I met an old friend of mine for happy hour last week and she suggested we try Circa - Foggy Bottom. This location of the local chain had opened a few days before and already it was poppin! The patio was nice, the bartenders were good, and the service was on point. It just so happens I know the bar manager and one of the bartenders, but that isn't why I decided to plug the place. The comfortable urban atmosphere and atypical wine/beer lists set this place out. If you're in the D.C. area, (and want to get like me) you should check it out.

Go See It: Crazy, Stupid, Love

My girl and I went to see this Crazy, Stupid, Love this past weekend and I must say, it didn’t disappoint. From the various commercials and trailers I’d seen, I was excited for this movie and was sure it would deliver the perfect mix of comedy and sappy love-drama. It did. It also provided male viewers a guide for business-fresh-swag courtesy of a swagged-out Ryan Gosling, who I would never let my girl speak to given she had the chance. For real though, my man’s suits and belt-shoe combinations were fresh enough to make Soulja Boy tuck his chain in. Listen to me: if you are 24+ and you need to step up your wardrobe game, go see this movie.

Cougars Marisa Tomei and Julianne Moore prove that women can age like wine and give the young hotties a run for their money. I’ve always liked Marisa Tomei, ever since A Different World. (Jungle Fever? Maybe! But effit, she was the only white girl on campus; it goes both ways!!!) Emma Stone’s slight lisp gets on my nerves, but she still brings some sexiness.

Don’t be too tough homie, take your girl, or your roommate to  see this flick.

Randy Moss: Sad to see him go...dont think its gonna last

I read today on ESPN.com that Randy Moss was retiring. I also read in the same article that he's been hitting up two-a-days all spring and summer and is in "freakish shape". I don't think Moss is the kind of dude to waste his training and opt for retiring, unless someone is paying him to retire.
